We’ll have three speakers, each presenting on a different topic and sharing interesting facts that you never knew you never knew! Past Nerd Nite speakers have led deep dives into topics from the legacy of Louis Pasteur, to the origin of elements, to how a trumpet works, to a dissection of romance novel tropes. Glidden Pottery is a unique stoneware-bodied dinnerware and Artware that was produced in Alfred, New York from 1940 to 1957. This presentation by Margaret Carney will highlight the rich history and inspirational Glidden Pottery designs, glazes, and decorations. Part of the the IMoDD Unforgettable Dinnerware lecture series.

Cody Daigle-Orians (they/them) is a writer and asexuality educator based in Columbus, OH. They are the creator of Ace Dad Advice, a social media-based asexuality education project designed to support people exploring asexuality or questioning their sexual orientation, and the author of I Am Ace: Advice on Living Your Best Asexual Life. They are also a contributing author in the upcoming fiction anthology Being Ace: An Anthology of Queer, Trans, Femme, and Disabled Stories of Asexual Love and Connection.
