Join us for a special A2CAF unconference for Librarians, Educators, and Cartoonists! Warm yourself up for the fun events at A2CAF by leveling up your comics knowledge and skills with the people who care about the medium as much as you do!

At the Ann Arbor District Library:Super Random Element Comics Challenge: Apply and level up your comics-making skills with a fun, interactive workshop.

Take your comic-making skills to another level in this storytelling challenge! Participants will be given design constraints and a limited amount of time to create a mini-comic.

Join AADL at The Annex at Top of the Park before the screening of "Groundhog Day." Test your superior knowledge of Bill Murray trivia to win valuable AADL summer game points.

Also - don't miss your chance to test your knowledge of space program trivia on Tuesday, June 20 at 8:30 pm before the before the Top of the Park screening of "Hidden Figures."

Young Artist Jury Session

Come meet with art educators to share and talk about your work as part of the jury process for the 2017 Youth Art Fair. The Youth Art Fair is open to young artists in grade 4–12, residing in Washtenaw County. This session is the final of two (the first one was Saturday, May 20) where young artists may bring samples of their work to discuss and share with jury members.

The Youth Art Fair program strives to inspire young artists to expand their idea of art and develop their own voice. The program culminates in a Youth Artists’ Market where participants display and sell their work at the Original Street Art Fair’s Townie Street Party on Monday, July 17, 2017.

The number of participants accepted into this program is limited and young artists must go through the jury process in advance of the Youth Art Fair. For the jury requirements or to learn more about the Youth Art Fair visit TownieStreetParty.com
