True Story submitted by Motomori on June 15, 2015, 12:07pm I was hooked onto this book from the very first page! It was interesting to see how these students, staff, etc reacted to this out of control experiment. I did a little bit of research to see what this was based on when I found out it was a true story, and I found out this was based on an incident at Cubberley High School in 1969 in Palo Alto, California. This event was called the Third wave and the process that followed was very similar to what happened in the book. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who is into deep thinking!
