Really Good! submitted by alumeng.ajl on June 17, 2012, 7:58am I loved this book! I finished it really quickly, and I can't wait to read the sequel!

Amazing submitted by nicole on June 18, 2013, 3:44pm This book was recommended to me by a friend. I usually can't handle very sad books, but this one was beautifully written and well-done. I look forward to reading the sequel, Where She Went!

good submitted by michael007 on June 30, 2013, 6:11pm I love this book!

Okay submitted by bluepapaya on June 14, 2014, 4:52pm This is a interesting idea, but it's a little confusing a times.

Good submitted by Mustafa Ali on July 13, 2014, 10:52pm Interesting book but tends to get a little confusing

If it finished some other way submitted by Christina on August 25, 2014, 7:21pm I liked the premise of the book but was ultimately disappointed with its ending.

I was hoping for some kind of a twist but it ended up predictably, basically surmounting to 'love conquers death,' which I thought was not only cliche but also unconvincing as Mia's love for Adam did not strike me as genuine.

I felt like the book would have been much stronger if Mia had made the decision to *spoiler alert* stay on her own, without Adam or the power of music, acknowledging that despite her loss and pain, life was still worth fighting for.

GREAT submitted by nadeensukhon on August 29, 2014, 12:17pm Great book, highly recommended

If I Stay submitted by hcf on August 30, 2014, 4:33pm The movie version is coming out soon.

Ending Was Disappointing! submitted by Beth Manuel on July 21, 2015, 10:31am Thinking that I had at least 35 pages left of the book, it suddenly ended and the next page was "Acknowledgements". I was taken aback. It just didn't feel finished to me. However, reading further I learned of a sequel....which may or may not be good. I hate it when characters spend their time inexplicably running from someone they love. That's how the excerpts of the sequel read to me.

Really Good submitted by ECReader on June 19, 2016, 9:02am I really liked reading this book as well as the sequel. I also enjoyed the movie though it was definitely not as good as the book.

the power of relationships submitted by camelsamba on August 28, 2016, 10:59pm I listened to this as an audiobook and wow: the narrator does a really good job conveying emotions! I was on the edge of tears more than once. I'm not sure it would have carried the same emotional wallop for me if I had been reading the text. The story is told from the point of view of 17 year old Mia, in a sort of out-of-body state after an automobile accident. It weaves in elements of her previous life to help set the context for the decision she must make. Very powerful.

good submitted by LijunHan on June 29, 2017, 12:17pm good book

Good submitted by KOH on August 8, 2017, 2:52pm Really sad, but decent read

Okay submitted by c_zhang on June 27, 2019, 10:29pm It was an alright book. Some parts were kind of confusing, and the main character isn't particularly interesting.

If I stay submitted by Varshini on July 31, 2019, 7:24pm Felt a bit cliche. Still good though! 3/5 stars.
