Great book submitted by dcollicott on November 11, 2010, 8:13am This is a great book about the author's emergence from his "dark ages," the time of life between when we stop playing with LEGO as a kid an then pick it up again as an adult. As part of his work (play, rather) Mr. Bender traveled to Ann Arbor and attended Brick Bash, an annual public LEGO exhibition.

Chapter 2 is especially good because it's all about me!

Underground Culture Emerges submitted by Ryan Burdick on June 28, 2011, 10:19am dcollicott has it spot on. This is an excellent book about a culture I did not even know about. Great to see A2 in the book, but the best part was just learning about the passion for the brilliant bricks.

Amazing. submitted by 0liviap0pp on August 5, 2011, 5:27pm This is an excellent book. It tells the story of the author who loved LEGOs as a kid and then loved them again as an adult.

Fun submitted by aschulte on August 10, 2011, 10:20am Fun

Brick Bash in 370 pages submitted by smv on August 15, 2011, 5:26am If you want a tale of a grown man acting like a little kid, and playing like crazy, this is the book for you.

Like LEGO? submitted by valerieclaires on August 30, 2014, 9:52pm Like LEGO? You might be an AFOL, or an Adult Fan of LEGO. This book chronicles the author's return to LEGO love after leaving them behind in childhood. Along the way, he meets other adult fans, gets his wife to get back into LEGO with him, travels to AFOL events, visits LEGOland, and even tour the LEGO headquarters in Billund, Denmark. Lots of interesting facts and tidbits about LEGO are in the book (naturally) and even fans who are not as hard-core as some of the people mentioned in the book will enjoy and learn from this one.
