Sad submitted by GJBarnett2 on July 1, 2017, 4:10pm A largely empty life, peaking at the age of 19 in 1976 with her breakthrough and defining role as Princess Leia in Star Wars, only her second appearance on-screen. Pretty much marching in place and downhill since then. She called events whre she sold her autograph and tried to look interested in the inane comments of fans as "lapdances" which she freely compared to prostitution. I was left with the impression that this book was written, too, just for the money.

What a sad read. submitted by JoCeAn on July 23, 2017, 9:54am Carrie bares her soul. She provides us with some insight into what happened behind the scenes
during the filming of the first Star Wars. Words from an insecure 19 year old unsure of her place in the world and her life afterwards defined by that role. So heartbreaking. :-(
