The Ann Arbor Creativity and Making Expo (AACME) is back and you're invited! Come celebrate the maker movement that ranges from traditional technologies like weaving all the way to our future in robotics! Our keynote speaker this year is designer, artist, and maker Sophy Wong, who will be speaking on the intersection of technology and clothing design. Enjoy hands-on demos from local maker spaces, learn about ham radio, solder an LED badge, see an upholstery demonstration, use our heat press, and so much more!

East Coast collector, John Moses, will present some history and information about his own collection of West Coast pottery including Brayton Laguna, Bauer, Catalina and Padre. A brief mention of Homer Laughlin Fiesta ware will be made. This is part of the International Museum of Dinnerware Design’s Unforgettable Dinnerware lecture series.

These walks will be lead by a representative from Natural Area Preservation. Open to all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. This month's walk takes place at Gallup Park. Meet at Gallup Park Boat Launch off Geddes Rd. Bring along a pair of binoculars for viewing basking turtles on the river banks.

We’ll have three speakers, each presenting on a different topic and sharing interesting facts that you never knew you never knew! Past Nerd Nite speakers have led deep dives into topics from the legacy of Louis Pasteur, to the origin of elements, to how a trumpet works, to a dissection of romance novel tropes. So bring a friend, grab a drink, and enjoy an evening among fellow nerds. Be there and be square!
