Explore the plucky heroes, eerie monsters, and fabulous realms of artist and author Ben Hatke in an exhibition of original art from his picture books and graphic novels.

Illustrations and watercolors from Nobody Likes a Goblin, Zita the Spacegirl, Julia’s House for Lost Creatures, and a few surprises will be on display in the Downtown Library Third Floor Gallery through August 31.

Pleasant surprise on the 3rd floor of the main library

A wonderful treat on the third floor! Fun on it's own, but especially fun when you interact with it as part of the Summer Game!

Great exhibit proving comics can be an art form as well as an entertaining read. Thanks for bringing Ben Hatke to speak during A2CAF, too.

My family and I really enjoyed spending some time looking at this exhibit. Creative and endearing!

I love the drawings!! I have read some of his books, and they are really good.

My Summer Game code is: TIME744

This was a great exhibit — it was super fun to check out the art and then read some of Hatke’s books with my daughter!

And fun for us Summer Gamers.

I never would have checked this out without the Summer Game.

We loved this exhibit, and the badges accompanying it were fun! I hope there will be something similar next year.

Thanks for introducing me to Ben Hatke!

I really enjoyed this exhibit and hope to see more from this artist in the future.

I haven't had an opportunity to check this exhibit out yet. It's definitely on my to-do list!!
