Join author, photographer and architectural historian Dale A. Carlson as he examines twelve Detroit metro area memorials, mausoleums and grave markers designed by Albert Kahn, Inc.
With a focus on the biographies of the interred and memorialized, Dale A. Carlson highlights sites at Woodlawn and Woodmere cemeteries, as well as Belle Isle and Ann Arbor. Learn about the lives of Detroit News founder James Edmund Scripps, United States Senator James J. Couzens, and University of Michigan President Dr. Marion LeRoy Burton, among many others, and their connection to the Kahn legacy.
Dale A. Carlson is the author of Corrado Parducci: A Field Guide to Detroit’s Architectural Sculptor.
