Super Skull Podcast - Issue #88: Nugs Before Swine

The following podcast is not suitable for anybody. Furthermore, the pot jokes found throughout this week's episode (recorded on April 20th) do NOT represent the views or habits of Vault of Midnight Incorporated or Marcus Schwimmer specifically. They are, in addition, not sure funny. Also there's some stuff about a speedboat, barbecue sauce, and some nifty comics.

Our big picks this week were:

  • Elseworlds Batman Vol 1
  • Fourth Planet #1
  • Dept. H #1

Super Skull Podcast - Issue #87: Introducing Crème Fraîche

It's issue 80-something and whatever! There's a big Vault of Midnight Detroit announcements, Marcus tells a harrowing tale of stairs horror, and Captain America turns 75. Feed your brain and listen to this week's episode.

Our big picks this week were:

  • Xena Warrior Princess #1
  • C-3PO 1 Shot
  • Black Road #1
  • The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye

Super Skull Podcast - Issue #85: w/ Special Guest Arnold Ziffel

This week on Super Skull we contribute to the timeless and continuing discussions surrounding the contrast between the urban and pastoral in fiction and politics. There are also some poop jokes, Batman and Superman, and we bray like the donkeys we are.

Our Big Picks were:

  • Golem
  • Sam Wilson Captain America #7
  • The Heroic Legend of Arslan Vol. 1

Super Skull Podcast - Issue #83: A Tiny, Sexy Lasso

This week on Super Skull we recorded what is arguably our sexiest episode to date. Sorry about that.

And what could be sexier than an in depth examination of the Comics Code Authority circa 1954? Nothing, that's what.

Our Big Picks this week were:

  • Power Man and Iron Fist #2
  • International Iron Man #1
  • The Imitation Game by Jim Ottaviani and Leland Purvis
