Strategies for Overcoming Climate Eco-Anxiety

As the climate crisis intensifies, we are inundated in the everyday with negative images and stories that darken our present and future horizon. As a result, more people are experiencing mental health consequences, or what is being called 'eco-anxiety'. Sadly, we expect eco-anxiety to spike across the globe, and the reality is especially worrying among children and youth who will bear the brunt of the crisis, even as governments fail to take action.

Soundwalk in Winter

Join us for a listening of Downtown Ann Arbor with a guided soundwalk. It is a unique opportunity to listen and experience our sound environment in a very different way. We are going to open our ears to every sound around us and become more aware of the soundscape that we live in. Participants will learn the concepts of the soundwalk and different ways to explore a sonic environment. Part of this program involves a walk outside so please dress accordingly.
