The Library will be accepting coats and jackets at all locations from September 8th-November 17th. Please make sure that items are in good condition and freshly laundered. We will not accept items the day of the event.

The Ann Arbor District Library has recently added Accessibility Tools to the Tools Collection, making items such as a Braille typewriter and a handheld electronic magnifier available for patrons to check-out. The Accessibility Lab in the Downtown Library has been under renovation and is now open with new elevator tables and other updated equipment. Come hear AADL staff talk about these changes, and tell us what else you’d like to see at your library!

This workshop led by a Certified Decluttering Coach will include methods, tips, and mindset shifts to help you make progress and impact in any space, in any amount of time. The tools and ideas are great for people who are not naturally good at decluttering, organizing, and keeping a perfectly managed home. You'll leave with methods, resources, and motivation to help you declutter at the "speed of life."
