Items will be accepted at all locations starting January 26th. You do not need to drop items off in order to pick something up.

Join Natural Area Preservation and AADL staff for an informative nature walk through one of the city's natural areas, in conjunction with the Diversity in the Outdoors lecture series.

The walk will take place at Gallup Park (meet at Gallup Park Boat Launch).

AADL's Halloween Costume Contest is back! Got a creative, cool, cute, or spooky costume? Come in your flashiest, most beautiful, or most outrageous costume to AADL’s annual costume contest!

To enter, you must be seen by the judges between 12:00–2:00pm. The award ceremony will be held at 2:30pm. We will have a photo booth in the Lobby (from 12:00–3:00pm) for all to commemorate the day.

Little Amal is the 12-foot-tall puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee child at the heart of The Walk. She has become a global symbol of human rights, especially those of refugees.

With cold weather bringing you inside, and winter break coming up, it might be time to refresh your toys and games! Come one, come all, and swap out your old children's toys and games for something new to you! You do not need to bring a toy or game to pick one up.

AADL is excited to be part of Ann Arbor Pride again this year! Pride takes place on Main Street this year in Downtown Ann Arbor!

First celebrated in 1995, Ann Arbor Pride (previously known as OUTFest) is a weekend festival in Ann Arbor, Michigan, celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer identities, community, and allyship hosted by the Jim Toy Community Center. Ann Arbor Pride brings entertainment, community, vendors, fun, and most importantly, Pride.
