Rasa Festival | Art from India: Printmaking workshop by Sajeev Visweswaran

As part of the Rasa Festival, this one-day workshop will give a basic introduction to the relief printmaking using the linocut technique. Relief printing refers to a technique where images are transferred to paper from the raised portion of a carved or etched block. In this technique, drawings are made on a linoleum block and the negative space is carved out from the desired areas. In the next stage, ink is applied on the surface using a roller.
